Rehearsals each Wednesday 6:00 pm to
7:15 pm.
Does not conflict with participation in
the Sanctuary Choir.
It would be helpful if you are able to read music, but a willingness to learn
and a good arm are all that is necessary. If your desire is to use your
musical gift to glorify God, we have a bell waiting to be rung by you!
Children's Choir

The Woodhaven Children's Choir is for ages 4 through
5th grade. The children are divided into two groups,
Carol Choir: 4 years – 2nd grade and Chapel Choir: 3rd –
5th grade. We meet on Wednesday nights from
6:15pm-7:15pm in the Trinity Theatre of the CE Building.
While one group is in choir rehearsal, the other group
is in a Music Activities class, where they play musical
games. We also will have a chime choir for the 3rd – 5th
graders that will meet on Wednesday nights from
7:20pm-7:45pm.
In addition to preparing anthems for worship services 3
or 4 times each semester, the children learn basic music
reading skills. We play games and instruments to help
make learning fun! Time is also spent singing
traditional hymns and learning the use of our hymnal.
There will be mission singing around the community once
or twice a year. The children have several opportunities
for fellowship throughout the year, such as our Fall and
Winter Kick-Offs, Christmas Caroling Party, and
End-of-Year Choir Awards.
